In addition to the benefits of reliable, efficient propane energy, there are programs through the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) that may provide financial incentives for qualifying propane equipment and projects.

Propane Construction Research Program
Build with Propane. Get Rewarded.
The Propane Construction Research Program (PCRP) helps builders and remodelers offset the cost of incorporating propane-powered appliances and systems into new or remodeled homes.
Qualifying builders can earn up to $1,000 per new home by installing eligible propane appliances and providing project information to PERC. Certain remodeling projects that replace electric or heating-oil appliances with propane may also qualify for an additional $500.
Propane can provide homeowners with reliable comfort, efficient appliances, and dependable energy throughout the home — while giving builders another way to differentiate their projects.
Eligible propane applications may include:
Space heating
Water heating
Cooking
Clothes drying
Fireplaces
Standby generators
Funding is limited and program requirements apply.
Propane Farm Research Program
Help Your Farm Save on New Propane Equipment
The Propane Farm Research Program (PFRP) provides financial compensation to qualifying farmers who purchase and use eligible new propane-powered equipment. In exchange for participating, farmers provide real-world performance information to PERC. This data helps support research and the continued development of propane technologies for agricultural applications.
Eligible equipment can include propane-powered equipment used for applications such as:
Irrigation
Power generation
Agricultural heating
Poultry house sanitation
Other qualifying farm applications
