For more than 70 years, Fayetteville Propane has been providing trusted propane service to families, farms, and businesses throughout Central Texas. Founded in 1955 by A.P. Vitek, our company has grown alongside the communities we serve while remaining committed to the values that have defined us from the beginning—honesty, reliability, safety, and exceptional customer service.

In 1977, Joe and Jean Sladek purchased Fayetteville Propane and continued its tradition of dependable hometown service. As the company expanded, the original office on the Fayetteville town square relocated just outside the city limits to better serve our growing customer base. In 2000, we opened our Brenham location, further extending reliable propane service to families, farms, and businesses throughout the region.

Today, Fayetteville Propane remains proudly family-owned and operated by the second generation—Rodney Sladek, Wanda Fritsch, and Janet Grayson. With more than 25 full-time employees, a fleet of eight bobtail delivery trucks, and service throughout parts of 10 counties across Central Texas—including Fayette, Washington, Austin, Waller, Colorado, and the surrounding areas—we're proud to combine the capabilities of a growing company with the personalized service of a local family business.
