Important: All gauge readings and gallon calculations are approximate. A tank is typically filled to about 80% capacity; the percentage does not predict how many days of fuel you have left. A gauge reading of 0% alone does not prove gas service was interrupted. If your propane supply has actually run out or service has stopped, contact our office: a qualified professional must perform the applicable leak check and safety procedures before the system is returned to service. Do not attempt to restart the system yourself. If you smell gas, leave the area and call for emergency assistance from a safe location.

0% — Out of Gas

Contact our office promptly. A gauge reading of 0% suggests your tank may be empty, but a gauge reading alone does not prove service was interrupted. If your system has actually run out of gas or gas service stopped, a qualified technician must complete the applicable leak check before restarting. Do not try to restart it yourself.
